Piezo Inkjet Technology

Piezo inkjet technology has been used for a couple of decades. Piezo technology is activated by using an electrical charge which has been named piezoelectric technology. This print head technology is used in printers from small photo printers to large industrial systems.

Piezo technology forces the ink out of the print nozzles by using an electrical charge. Once an electrical charge is received from the devices behind the print head, the device bends backwards drawing the exact amount of ink from the cartridge into the firing chamber. The electrical process is then reversed and the small devices will bend quickly to release ink at high speeds.

The amount of ink pulled into and released from the nozzle is accurately controlled by the electrical impulse recieved by the piezoelectric devices changing how they bend. The print head ejects ink drops in a precisely controlled amount.

Piezo inkjet technology is often used in a manufacturing setting on production lines to mark products. This is used because of fast drying technology without using heat. The requirements of this technology are high speed application, long life span, large span between the print head and material and low operating cost. Because this technology enables non-contact printing, it is applied to all kinds of media applications from personal to industrial. Since inkjet printing does not require a plate, there are major cost savings. This also includes the ability for screen printing.

Piezoelectric print heads use electromechanical means rather than heat which gives the print head a longer life expectancy. Piezo printers are also capable of producing smaller droplets resulting in better photographic prints. These printers also have a larger range of ink compatibility. Ink replacement is less expensive and more readily available. Piezo heads can use solvent systems, oil-based as well as aqueous systems for ink. Making IDs from Home

Making identification badges with photographs from your home is a very easy process, and requires very little in the way of software or computer hardware. The process can take as little as a minute or two, provided one has already prepared the document and background upon which any photograph or additional text will be added. Making identification badges or cards can add legitimacy to small businesses, and can provide a measure of security to employees, customers and the public alike.

To make an identification badge from home requires access to a computer, a printer, and one of a variety of tools used to take a photograph. Many businesses elect to use the web cameras either built in to their office computers, or purchased inexpensively from local electronics retailers. A web camera typically does not offer the same resolution, megapixel count or options as a nice digital camera, but neither does it cost anything close to what a nice digital camera might cost. Web cameras have the added benefit of being attached whenever they are working, via USB cable, to their computers, helping prevent loss or damage to the item. A digital camera can take excellent photographs at high resolutions, producing high-quality images, and many have options for editing photographs. Finally, most cellular telephones these days have high-resolution cameras included, and transfer files easily.

There are plenty of software packages for preparing the background to the ID card. Many users make their own in graphics programs. An ID should have the name of the company or agency the holder represents, and should show their picture, name and job title in clear, legible print. A business ID can provide a measure of security to employees, identifying them and their reason for being in any given place, and allowing for their movements to be identified if necessary. Likewise, a simple ID can, by the very act of identifying its holder, provide assurance to others that the bearer is present on professional or official business.

Please see our video on Youtube to learn more about making IDs from your home.

How to effectively use stencil printing

Stencil printing is a big part of printing technology today. Stencil printing is very similar to screen printing. They produce the same exact results when done on fabric. Stencil printing is very cheap, and known to be very fun. In order to use stencil printing first, you will have to come up with your own design. You can create whatever design your heart desires. You need to make sure that your design is going to fit on whatever item that you are putting it on. If you want more information about stencil printing you can look that up on Wikipedia.

Once you are happy with a design that you have made, you will need to print it out in regular black and white on a poster board. You will have to have a little bit of knowledge in order to print out things with a poster board. You will then have to use an X-acto knife to cut your design out. You will need to try and keep the black areas clean. You can then place it on a flat surface and use some painter’s tape to mark the area where your design will go on. You can then paint a large area following the painter’s tape instructions. You will need to let it dry, so you can use a blow dryer to speed the process up.

You can use as many different colors as you like when it comes to stencil printing. You can touch up the design how you think you need to. Everyone’s stencil printing design will not come out the exact same way. If you end up making a mistake, just leave it alone, because you could end up making it worse than before. There are certain things that may require you to go to a stencil printing company. These designs may be for a club, or even youth group. They will be better off serving you. This is especially true for people that do not have any knowledge at all on how to stencil print. It can be challenging to learn at first, but it can become a big success.

What’s So Great About Phaser 8500 Ink?

Xerox is a company that is so big and so good, that making a photocopy is also called “Xeroxing” something. Now that takes skill to re-brand the market in such a way in your image. Only a few companies have done this over the years – Band-aid, Kleenex, and very few others. However, you know that when you deal with a company like that you have some great minds engineering some great products.

That’s where the Phaser 8500 comes in. This color printer is a solid ink printer with a 600 MHz processor (that’s better than some old computers I have laying around at my house!) and comes with a Gigabyte of memory – up to 20 GB can be installed, however. That’s one mega printer! Aside from all of these perks, its price is great and its quality is even better. So what about ink?

Phaser 8500 ink sells at just about the price you’d expect from this great company – at a low one. There is no one place to get it, since lots of companies have a great deal on this great product. You can probably get a better deal buying in bulk from an office supply firm than from Xerox themselves, since that is usually how business works. But when you’re buying top-of-the-line stuff like Phaser 8500 ink, it doesn’t really matter how much it costs.

You must be crazy, you’ll say. Of course price matters – but if you spend all your money on refills, fixes, and get sloppy ink everywhere, your original OEM price is out the window already! That’s why you should consider ink costs before you buy a piece of equipment like Xerox’s Phaser 8500. You could end up saving yourself enough money for a vactation if you handle it right, in the money you save by not spending tons of dough on ink each month!

That’s why most offices that use high volume use lazer printing – because of its speed and its utilitarian ink drum usage. Inkjet information is also available regarding refilling and refurbishing ink toner cartridges. This is something that cannot be done with laser printers – which is better for the environment and your pocket book.

There is a great wealth of knowledge on respected sites that can greatly add to your search and enhance your product buying capability. It is always an informed customer who knows his purchase that feels less buyer’s remorse than someone who makes an impulse buy. The Internet is such a great resource tool for this type of shopping that there really should not be such a thing as an “uninformed consumer”.

Whenever shopping for a printer and consequently, the ink cartridges, it is important to keep in mind the total cost that will probably come with the product. More than likely you will have to spend thousands on the cartridges before you replace your printer. This is a major expense that needs to be taken care of.

You’re Getting A Dell… 3115cn Toner

“Dude, you’re getting a Dell!” This phrase sent ripples through the advertising world in the 1990s and early 2000’s, as it was so simple and easy to remember that it seemed revolutionary. It was impressive that a company could successfully launch a product and perform zero advertising simply due to their staunch name recognition. Further, the fact that the ad was based on a guy complimenting someone on their own product was even richer for the Madison Avenue types. Dell is a successful company, all the way from the cow-colored boxes of the Gateways to their legendary inventory turns to the advertisting they creatd. Ever wonder what’s going on with Dell?

These days, Dell is making a fantastic product in the Dell 3115cn toner. For color laser printers, this puppy is one of the best out there. Ever want to take some time and get to know your printer’s capabilities a little better? The Dell 3115cn toner is one great way to do that. Priced affordably and also widely available, this toner cannot be beat for the price and for the high quality that it produces.

The printer, which also doubles as a copier and a scanner, can also connect to a network or an individual PC. It prints 31 pages a minute in black and white and 17 a minute in color – fast by industry standards. It can also take a beating, cranking out up to 60,000 pages in a month. Think about how many dead trees that is! Incredible – Dell is doing it again.

Even better, the intelligence of this machine alerts you to a waning toner. Never lose track again of your toner situation with this black beautiful machine. It tells you when to service it, not the other way around. Dell has done it again with this great copier, buy it today.

Getting Inkjet Information Key to an Informed Buy

Ever walk into a store to find a product, but have no idea where to start? We’ve all been there. Walking into a Walmart or a Best Buy can be so overwhelming when you just have one word like “printer” on your mind. Which kind of printer – home or office? Color or black & white? How many pages do you need to print a minute? How high should your resolution be? Laser, inkjet, or other? What’s your price range? And so on and so forth into eternity, until you walk out of the store vowing to come back another day.

But hey, it doesn’t have to be so confusing. The average shopper doesn’t have to listen to retail outfits or manufacturers alone anymore. It used to be a one-way street: the customer was advertised to and bombarded with product suggestions from the makers and the sellers until they made a purchase choice. This often resulted in buyer’s remorse, since the product may or may not be what the person needed, but could have been pressured into buying it. Standing in an aisle at a big-box store with a gazillion options can be just as intimidating – if not trying and annoying.

So what’s a consumer to do? How about this – log on and empower yourself. If it is inkjet information you seek, not only can you shop around online first to see if you can get a better bargain (once shipping costs are included) – which you very well may – or you can, at the very least, do the preliminary weeding out of products that you have no use for from the comfort of your home. Even better, many sites host reviews – both professional and consumer reviews. So that inkjet information will not be laced with the pressure of someone trying to sell you on their product, just on consumers like yourself.

Inkjet Reviews – They’re Everywhere!

So on the Internet today, you can find reviews of pretty much anything. Literally – anything… just name it. There are reviews of things like restaurants, automobiles, companies, bosses, television shows, movies, music albums, apartment services, transportation agencies, and even other things that are illegal – drugs, prostitution, and the like. Clearly, we have it all at our fingertips these days, which can be quite overwhelming when you want to do something as simple as pick up a personal printer.

Luckily, we have sites that review printers and now we have sites that give us inkjet reviews – but for the actual printer cartridge sites that sell these products. Talk about meta and post-modern shopping. Just as the products that they review, picking a site for these puppies can be quite a task, apparently. There are over 15 sites that they give us for inkjet reviews – but for the sites that market these printers.

What a world we live in. The sites are rated similar to how those sites themselves rate printer cartridges that they sell – by best selection, lowest prices, best shipping rates and on-time deliveries. I wish we had this much oversight of a few other companies! In any case, it just goes to show how rich are technological web has become. We truly have reached the next stage of human evolution!

The possibilities are limitless if we can, with the click of a button, launch ourselves into a world of reviews of reviews – of ink and toner cartridges. It goes to show that our technological universe, as much as it is in its infancy, is capable of becoming overbearing and slightly unnerving. However, the upside to it is that we will never be lacking when it comes to finding websites that review inkjet toner and printers!

HP Inkjet – Always a Good Buy

Hewlett-Packard has been producing printers and computer components since before I was alive – they’ve been around for almost a century! Surely this great company that produces many printers and computers also produces great components for their products – like HP inkjet printer products. Let’s see what the reviews say. There are so many review sites out there to help you choose, it is hard not to see why consumers are doing more and more of their shopping online each year.

Online, if you do a cursory web search for these guys, you get tons of hits, which is no surprise, considering Hewlett-Packard to be one of the most known and reputable companies out there. Other firms such as Epson, Lexmark, Brother, and Canon also make up a considerable portion of the market share of printers nowadays.

HP inkjet printers are some of the top of the line, which makes the availability of reviews and such on the Internet close to ubiquitous. There are many stages of reviews that consumers can go through to see which printers and accessories are available to purchase a printer or any accessories. Upon looking at the manufacturer’s site, if you search for their inkjet selection, the page directs you to become interactive with their site – they suggest a “personalized recommendation” if you need to replace a printer. They also have printers to pick from on the front page, along with different awards their products have received and some other random product information.

As always, though, human customer service is sometimes necessary and desirable; HP references their call center number on their web site. We can’t be totally reliant on computers, now can we? Even in this day and age when we are shopping for personal computer and printing equipment, sometimes we have to talk to people. But hey, that’s not so bad, right?

Inkjet Information at Your Fingertips

There are a plethora of sites out there today devoted to inkjet printers and computers and their accessories. Since printing is such a specific field, with certain technologies in use for long periods of time with small refinements, it makes sense that there is this wide scope of information available today. Many sites offer both reviews of products and also sell those products, too. Inkjet information is widely available on line – one only needs to do a web search to see that.

Many sites will direct you to articles written in the past 10 years about the cost of ink. One article in particular from the BBC shows up time and again, comparing ink to vintage champagne – at least in price. Ink, as currently priced in portions by manufacturers, could fetch up to $3000 a liter or $8000 a gallon if sold in those quantities to consumers! Inkjet information of this kind is very interesting.

In addition to these kind of statistics and articles, we get information about how inkjet printers work. You can find quite detailed explanations behind the technology of these printers, since most of it is not proprietary. Throughout the years, these printers have grown in complexity, adding different methods by which to print out information onto pages. Other information available is other articles, like how Dell doesn’t appreciate an HP marketing tactic or how Epson has recently suffered a boycott.

If you are interested in buying a printer, you can find your printer with a buying guide that can help you more than some general reviews on sites that may or may not try to answer consumers’ questions. Some of these sites can be extremely helpful when searching for printers, since they are written by professionals with a knowledge of the industry and can help greatly undo myths about computer printers.

So Many Inkjet Reviews, So Little Time

There are many sources when you are searching for information about products on the Internet. You can be sure that if there is a product out there, someone has something to say about it. This is just the nature of human beings – we always love to be opinionated about something. In this case, the product we are looking into is inkjet printers – so where can you find good inkjet reviews?

There are many sites online that specialize in reviews for inks and printers and inkjet components. Many of these sites offer both consumer reviews and expert reviews, such as CNET.com. Amazon.com, for being an all-purpose retailer, has also become the name to beat when discussing any kind of customer reviews – even inkjet reviews. Other sites include consumersearch.com, zdnet.com, toptenreviews.com, and inkjetbuzz.com. All of these companies offer general and specific advise to steer consumers towards certain aspects of printing.

Inkjet printers come in such a wide variety of uses that there are quite a few sites dedicated to discussing their usage and function in fine detail. These sites did not even exist a few years ago, and now we have hundreds of websites that can give us any information we need about any kind of printer, cartridge, ink and toner, and any other facet of printing – in laser format, inkjet format, or any other type of printer format.

Today’s world is a crazy one – we have all this information at our fingertips at all times – most of us have smartphones with Internet capabitlies. But can one consumer even harness all the power that is the Internet and its reviewing capability of products? It’s hard to say yes, because of how vast and seemingly infinite the information is. But in any case, it is good to have this information out there for us to read whenever we get a chance.

Brother HL-4070 Toner Will Set Your Printer Free

Brother is a company that has been around for a number of years and has put out quality products for much of that time period. The company makes printing supplies and printer cartridges, as well as label makers and things of that sort. If you are in the market for new toner or cartridges for your printer, you would do well to consider Brother HL-4070 toner.

The Brother HL-4070 toner is one in a long line of toner available from Brother that seeks to maximize performance for your color printer. Sites like NewEgg.com, which is a sort of Amazon.com-style site for computer and printer accessories, list reviews of customers that have bought this product. Most had good things to say about the printer itself – the speed is good, even if startup time was a little long and quality is very high. Some complaints were that the printer itself was very heavy and bulky, but these did not seem to factor into a great many of customer’s thoughts on the subjects.

Other reviewers of the Brother HL-4070 laser printer praised its speed and quality and its color printing abilities, as well as its wireless capabilities. Still other reviewers noted its size again and that color imaging could be somewhat better. Clearly, the market for computer printers, especially laser printers, has evolved to the point where speed and quality seem to be reaching a critical intersection for most consumers – and they have found the printers that can provide this for them.

This type of research, previously unavailable to older generations, has had a dramatic impact on sales of products like printers and their components. Most people would not know what to do it they did not have the Internet to bounce their opinions and questions off! This is a great development and we will keep you up to date on developments of color printers and their components.

Not Your Father’s Shopping – Where to Find Inkjet Information

In the old days, if you wanted to get information about a specific product, you could get it from a number of places – a television advertisement, a radio announcement, a billboard, a retail outlet, a traveling salesman, a repair shop, or from the manufacturer themselves. Today, it is a clearly different game. Consumers are much more skeptical of advertisements, which may alert consumers to a product’s existence, but may not do much convincing up front. Radio advertisements for products are not one of the major components of advertising anymore as they used to be (billboards and advertisements on the sides of buildings have also decreased for products as well over the last 50 years). Retail outlets can still be a source of information, but most retail shops do not specialize in a specific product, often selling wares by hundreds or thousands of manufacturers, many of them private label for that specific business. Finally, salesmen and repair shops have largely gone by the wayside.

In today’s world, where the Internet is the ultimate repository for product information there are three major components of awareness about products – advertising, information from the manufacturer, and product reviews. Take inkjet printers, for example – inkjet information is more ubiquitous than ever on the Internet. If you are searching for inkjet information to make a decision about a pending printing purchase, you have many options to scour online.

A prospective buyer of an HP product, for example, would see the manufacturer’s website with their product information as well as sites like CNET.com (which reviews technology and offers both expert and consumer ratings of products). This type of information has become a common way to search for products – you look at both the manufacturer and retailer, and then at consumer’s reviews. Some sites, like Amazon, incorporate both of these into one arena.
